Boka_taxi: Convenient Taxi Booking App for Umeå, Uppsala, Örnsköldsvik, and Lycksele

Boka_taxi is a travel and navigation app developed by Finn Frogne AS for iPhone users. With this app, you can easily book a taxi without having to wait in phone queues in Umeå, Uppsala, Örnsköldsvik, and Lycksele.

Upon opening the app, it automatically retrieves your current location address. If you want to book from a different address, simply click on the "Pick-up address" box. From there, you can choose from a map, enter the address manually, select from your recent addresses, or choose from your favorites.

For your first booking, you will be asked to provide your name and mobile number, which will be saved under "Settings" so that you don't have to enter them again for future bookings. If you want to book a taxi for someone else, you can fill in their name and mobile number in the "Order taxi" tab.

If you need multiple cars, you can simply make one or more identical bookings (4 people per taxi). If you need a larger car, you can contact the taxi company by pressing "Call back" and selecting the company you want to book with.

The app also offers additional features such as booking through your travel account, pre-booking up to a week in advance, tracking the "status" of your booking and seeing the location of the car on a map, cancelling until the car is dispatched, viewing all your trips from the past 14 days, receiving receipts via email, saving favorite addresses, selecting addresses from your recent bookings, sending messages directly to the driver on the way, rating the trip, receiving notifications if the taxi is delayed, and using the app to make a call if you are outside the taxi companies' service areas.
